Josée Mercier began her career in 1989 at CUMIS, where she started in various roles before transitioning to the accounting department. Subsequently, she was requisitioned to the commercial underwriting department before ultimately becoming an expert in commercial claims and heading the claims department until May 31, 2000. She then started at Gravel, David, Rouleau et associés Inc., overseeing claims and the National Commercial account of CUMIS. In 2007, when CUMIS withdrew from the Quebec market, she worked at RPMXPERT as a reviewer and Lloyd’s account manager in commercial insurance. In 2013, she returned to Gravel, David, Rouleau et associés Inc. as a commercial claims expert for Lloyd’s accounts. In 2014, despite not having been a road expert, Josée accepted a mandate from IndemniPro as a road expert in commercial insurance. In December 2016, she moved to Crawford, where she successively held the positions of road expert in commercial insurance, commercial insurance reviewer, and trainer and auditor in Lloyd’s account compliance. She returned to us in May 2019 as a commercial insurance reviewer, bringing her knowledge and assistance in managing Lloyd’s accounts and producing key performance indicator reports.
